Review

So I just realized today, I have a blog! It has been over a year since anything has been posted so here is a quick review…
In the last months of 2010, Mylon got a promotion at work and Ashley attempted on-line classes at Liberty University in the area of Psychology and Counseling (scary)!
December – Our 10 day family vacation to Mexico. We stayed in Mexico City and Jalapa and visited families of Hispanics in our church. If you want to hear stories please ask.
January – We found out that we were expecting an addition to the family in September. To be announced at the 3 month mark in March
February – April – Ashley attempts another semester at Liberty. Note to self: Pregnancy and schooling do not mix. I realize every one has different pregnancy symptoms and each pregnancy can be different…Let’s just say it was a difficult task.
May – Ashley graduates from GBS with her BA in Intercultural Studies and World Missions. Whew! Now for a break from school.
June – August – Normal busy summer months with the addition of a new little brother. Elijah Lee Kruithoff born Monday, August 29th 7 lbs. 14 oz. 20 in.
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer and we can announce our new arrival. Pictures to follow.

Here is a card I made with my cricut…
I am going to be working on a scrapbook for our honeymoon soon. It has been a while since I have touched a scrapbook, so Mylon’s Aunt Deana offered to help. She is fun, creative and has all kinds of neat things I can use. Check back soon for pictures of the album.

That is the highlight of my day…if you want to make one follow these directions http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2009/01/grocery-bag-holder.html Have fun!
The Infamous Pink House
Posted April 6, 2010 by mylonandashleyCategories: Uncategorized
This once cute pink house isn’t cute anymore. It is actually condemned, so we are going to demolish the house and make a yard. I might have a garden or it could be a play area for the little Albright’s in the family. Who knows?
About a month ago Rick Williams let Mylon borrow his backhoe which helped get the process going. This past weekend Warren and Byron came over with Terry’s bobcat to tear the rest of the house down. It was a big help and made things go a lot faster. Thanks Terry! My mom and Jason were also here to help. Thank you all!
Christmas Decorations
Posted December 7, 2009 by mylonandashleyCategories: Uncategorized
We have a house full of Christmas decorations and Christmas music. Getting ready for “the most wonderful time of the year.” Shopping, wrapping presents, eating all the traditional Christmas food and candies, spending time with family and most important celebrating the birth of our Saviour. *Sigh* Now we are just missing the piles of snow! There was snow on the ground this morning, but nothing like Michigan snow! I guess that gives me a reason to visit my family *smile*
Candle Making

Several weeks ago I started the hobby of candle making and I am enjoying it immensely. Here are some pictures of candles I have made. If you have any suggestions of a creative way to make a candle let me know, I love experimenting. Also, if you are interested in buying any they are priced well and smell good. Just call me or e-mail for scents and prices.
