Mother’s Day Weekend

This post has been written since the week after Mother’s Day. Somehow things seemed to speed up and I couldn’t find time to publish…Since that time we had an accident in the red car 😥 Someone hit us on the passenger side. Fortunately we were all okay and we have great insurance. The other driver didn’t have any! Right now it is at the repair shop. We can’t wait to get it back.

 

My dad and step-mom came to visit us on Saturday. We met them for breakfast and took them out to see our new house for their first time. My dad also brought down my car! My lovely red Volkswagen diesel jetta that gets 50 miles/gallon. My dad helped Mylon get a few things done, including getting his truck fixed! The day went by so fast. Next time they need to stay longer.

On Sunday Mylon’s parents come to visit. We had a meal at our house for lunch and supper. It was so nice to spend time with family. The only person we were missing was Loren. He couldn’t make it because of camp meeting at GBS.

Oh don’t let me forget to mention that all sets of grandparents love to teach things to your children that are hard to keep doing or are not easily undone. One of the things being that Isaiah wants to stand up all the time now and he is already trying to pull himself up. He loved standing anyway but now that’s all he wants to do and he wasn’t trying to pull himself up until after the grandparents were here.
